The Editorial

Mutual Heritage develops some instruments and competences able to facilitate the integration of recent heritage into the daily active life.
Integration is the best solution to improve a process of territorial development attentive to local population, to the global sustainability of historical inheritance and to enhance the protection of cultural heritage. Mutual and recent heritage dating from the 19° and 20° centuries needs to be recognised and preserved as a main feature of the multi-faceted Mediterranean identity. By Romeo Carabelli
